Santa Claus is coming to town. But where, you ask? Well, we have a feeling it’s going to be at Seedspace’s Jingle & Mingle event on December 22.
Situated next to Maadi’s Grand Mall, the human-centric space is throwing the first Christmas-themed networking event for the startup ecosystem in the region — hoping to bring the circle together and have everyone know each other in the Egyptian community.
“We wanted to do this event because the startup scene in Egypt is huge and it’s getting bigger every single day,” Mary Sherif, Community Manager at Seedspace, tells us. “The event is in no way a closed community one. Something this big and important shouldn’t be exclusive.”

Jingle & Mingle will also be open to everyone in the public. For a 50 LE fee, you will be granted entry to mingle with the creative minds of the country, and maybe sing a few Christmas carols with them.
Expect live music, hotshot keynote speakers from the ecosystem, networking games. The thing we’re most excited about, however, is their customized activation Santa’s Wishlist where startups, entrepreneurs (or wannabe entrepreneurs) will talk about the challenges that are keeping them from reaching their next step and three lucky winners will get the opportunity to overcome these challenges. The top applicants will be announced on New Year’s day.
