In an effort to maintain our credibility in the perception of our viewers, we decided to transparently provide a description of our advertising guidelines, in as much detail as we see necessary, on our website. Advertising and collaborating with brands is for us, as is the case with other magazines, one of the ways we make money. This money allows us to provide our readers with valuable content for free. Our advertising guidelines, however, ensure our avoidance of any unethical advertising.

The services we provide our clients are original, innovative and specific to our vision. We provide our clients with a variety of angles that makes it easy for them to reach their target audience in a professional, ethical and credible manner. The following is a list of our guidelines:

  • Before embarking on any collaborations with brands, and before advertising any product or service, we do our best to verify the claims and the key messages the brand wishes to spread about itself, its products, its services, or its corporate social responsibility campaigns.
  • We do not, implicitly or explicitly, advertise alcoholic drinks or cigarettes.
  • At the end of articles produced upon the request of a brand, a sentence will read “This is sponsored content.”
  • Paid Instagram posts will be posted using Instagram’s branded content tools.
  • In the case of paid collaborations with brands that require us to conduct interviews with personnel relevant to the brand, the interview questions must be written by us and comply with our editorial vision.
  • Advertising that incites gender, ethnic, racial or any form of hatred shall not be posted on our website or any of our social media channels.
  • Advertorials on 925 do not attempt to disguise the advertising of a product or a service in the guise of a seemingly objective news story and is only conducted if it fits our editorial vision.
  • Any work we publish during our collaborations with brands must fall under this umbrella of ethical guidelines and be consistent with the 925 persona.
