The Most Interesting Apps For Relieving Work-Related Stress

Managing stress can be hard but it is a skill that everyone needs to develop. Whether it’s a daily battle or an occasional flare, the effects of stress can take a toll on our productivity at work and, more importantly, your health. Fortunately, new tools can bring stress management right at your fingertips. Here are six of the most interesting apps that I’ve personally used for relieving my work-related stress.

One of my favorite apps to use if i’m going through a sleepless night. It was named  the 2017 iPhone app of the year by Apple itself,  since it promises to help users sleep better, boost confidence and reduce stress and anxiety, all with the help of guided meditations, soothing music, and bedtime stories.

Personal Zen

Developed by a professor of psychology and neuro-scientists, a series of games based on clinical findings about methods for reducing anxiety levels.

Breethe

For 10 minutes a day, this app offers meditation techniques to help you bring more happiness, joy, calm and peace of mind into your life. You can relax, relieve stress and anxiety, reduce insomnia and other sleep disorders, recover from burnout and improve your focus and concentration.

Happify

This app is said to improve your emotional well-being through research-backed activities and games, it has created a lot of buzz since its launch two years ago. It helps overcome negative thoughts, and build greater resilience by providing effective tools and programs to improve emotional well-being.

My Mood Tracker

This is the perfect companion for tracking your moods and emotions, and everything else that can affect how you feel. The fun yet powerful design will help you understand what causes your emotions to change, and get you on the path to feeling good again.

The Mindfulness App

The app helps users increase mindfulness and improve life satisfaction through guided meditation. The user can create a personalized “Timed Session”, choosing length of session, guided by voice, and type of background sound.
