TEDx is for those who want to listen to the many perspectives and stories that people have to share. The latest edition of TEDxFalakiStreet has several updates in store for its upcoming edition.
The event is going to be taking place on February 20, 2020, which gives you more time to plan ahead and make sure you’re attending.
Another big announcement is that it is moving to The American University in Cairo’s (AUC) New Campus in the Fifth Settlement instead of the Greek Campus. With that being said, who else would partner with them other than the university’s very own Student Union? There will be more announcements made on this partnership soon.
This event’s line-up is already packed with talent and knowledge as three new speakers will be participating. Actress, TV and Radio Presenter Hend Reda will be sharing her talk on stage on February 20, alongside Skin Care Doctor, none other than Asala’s daughter Sham Al Zahabi. Dina Heikal, communication for development officer at UNICEF is also joining this hyped up day.
This edition of TEDxFalakiStreet also features speakers including Director Hany Khalifa, Egyptian author Medhat El Adl, Founder of Very Nile and Bassita Salem Massalha and many others.
A campaign will be launched on TikTok starting on February 2, where mini-discussions will be carried out about acceptance, diversity, arts and culture. Because the theme of the conference is ‘colors,’ TEDx looks into and tackles social acceptance and accepting different viewpoints.
