Whether you’re a high school student or you’re someone who has just graduated from high school recently, you’re probably occupied with what your next moves are. What college will you be going to? What are you going to study there and to what end? With hundreds of thousands of career choices that lead to different and — at times — obscure career paths, it’s not strange to find yourself lost and unable to firmly decide what you want to do. Well, Seedstars has partnered up with MUN Inc. to bring you “The ÄfterGrad”; a virtual entrepreneurship summer camp that starts in less than a month!
What is Seedstars?
Seedstars is an international organisation aiming to make a positive impact on the lives of people in emerging markets through technology and entrepreneurship. Their top priorities are to make sure that security, education, healthcare, energy, sustainable lifestyles and proper financial independence are easily accessible in those emerging markets.
They mainly do that through empowering startups and connecting them to mentors and investors. They further collaborating with NGOs, corporations, governments and academic institutions to look for solutions that help them actualize their purpose.
We met Francesca T. Bombassei, Venture Capital Analyst for the MENA region at Seedstars, last February during the StartEgypt Forum 2020 and asked her about what value they add to the world of entrepreneurship in the region. “I think the real added value of a company like Seedstars, or an investment analyst like myself, is to guide entrepreneurs through their journey of achieving product-market fit and having a solution that actually has the power to then further grow,” she told us.
In their upcoming virtual entrepreneurship summer camp, “AfterGrad”, Seedstars have partnered up with Egyptian startup MUN Inc. to bring the project to life.
