If you haven’t heard of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity before and/or you don’t really know how it could help you, indulge us for a few lines. This global event started back in the 1940s with the aim of celebrating the work of professionals in the creative industry around the world. It then grew over a rich and successful history into a festival that celebrates, awards, and educates creative professionals of all specialties in an event that also provides them with the opportunity to network and develop long-lasting partnerships and exchanges. Seeing that it’s usually held in either Cannes or Venice, it might not be accessible to countless creatives in the MENA region and Egypt. This year, however, they launched a special event, Lions Live, that is both virtual and free!
It starts tomorrow, on the 19th of October, and runs until the 23rd of October. You’re only a couple of clicks away from registering. If you’ve already made up your mind, head to the bottom of this article and you’ll find your gateway to the event. If you still want to learn more about what’s in it for you read on…
This year, Lions Live is sponsored by Youtube and backed up by a host of partners that include Google, WeTransfer, Spotify, Facebook, and Unity. And you can “watch it for free, whenever, from wherever you are in the world”.
Throughout its five days (October 19 – 23), Lions Live will be filled to the brim with insights from the global creative professionals behind some of the world’s most exciting and sucessful campaigns. You could also derive a load of actionable insights and a behind-the-scenes look from stellar creatives who won the Grand Prix and Gold Lion at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
