This Saturday, June 12, the foot of the Great Giza Pyramid will witness a one-of-a-kind celebration of Egypt’s entrepreneurs and their diverse accomplishments; Egypt’s Entrepreneur Awards (EEA). This celebration will take on the shape of an awards ceremony with some of the finest Egyptian business leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers acting as jury members and deciding on who gets to take the award home. Among the awards’ categories are startups tackling the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely environmental sustainability, education, and healthcare.
With guests from numerous different industries, fields of study, levels of experience, and professional backgrounds—the event is set to become a haven for all prominent risk-takers.
It bridges necessary gaps in the entrepreneurial space and becomes a special networking arena where up-and-coming entrepreneurs could get the exposure they need in the community, benefit from one another, and benefit from experienced veterans across a myriad of sectors.
In this article, we’ll focus on six of the most prominent entrepreneurs who made it as EEA finalists with startups that are consistently working towards tackling the UN’s SDGs through the sectors of education, healthcare, and environmental sustainability.
The EEA is a dream come true for its founder, Amr Mansi, who is also the founder and CEO of I-Events. I-Events will be bringing the event to life as well, just like it did with many mega-events, including the Gouna Film Festival and the CIB PSA Women’s World Championship 2019-2020.
