President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi Appoints Hassan Abdallah As Acting Governor Of Egypt’s Central Bank

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi issued a presidential decree naming Hassan Abdullah as the acting governor of the Central Bank.

During his meeting with Hassan Abdullah, President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi emphasised the importance of developing monetary policies that keep pace with global economic changes and work to provide various sources of foreign currency resources, as well as an appropriate investment climate.

Hassan Abdullah is the former president of the United Media Services Company. He also held the position of CEO and Vice President of the Arab African International Bank, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Union of Arab and French Banks in Hong Kong, and finally the founder of the Board of Trustees of the “Wafa’n L Masr” Foundation.

He was also a board member of the “Union of Arab and French Banks” in Paris, the “German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce”, the “Advisory Council for Emerging Markets”, the “Central Bank of Egypt”, the “Orascom Construction and Industry” company, and a packaging company.
