The Climate Implementation Summit kicked off yesterday with an opening plenary by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, in the presence of a range of prominent head of state speakers and climate leaders, all gathered at COP27 in Sharm El-Sheikh Egypt for the sake of implementing thr existing climate agreements.
Theee roundtable sessions took place among the world’s leaders to discuss a range of climate change issues that mainly revolved around the Transition, Food Security and the Innovative Finance for Climate and Development.
Today, We are now on the cusp of starting of the second day’s activities, which will witness the attendance of about 63 leaders. Among the highlighted attendees comes Emmanuel Macron, President of France, Cyril Ramaphosa, President of South Africa, and Charles Michel, President of the European Council.
