US-based QuestionPro, an industry leader in survey and market research, has acquired Egyptian leading customer experience company CMILES CX. This acquisition marks Question Pro’s entry into the Mena Region.
CMILES CX was established in 2021 by co-founders Ahmed Hamdy (CEO) and Kerolos Nashaat (COO). Since its inception, CMILES CX pioneered the use of kiosks with smiley faces rating system to gather real-time customer feedback. In 2023, CMILES CX held the first customer experience expo, CUEX, in Egypt. Additionally, they launched “CX & Coffee” in 2024, the first Arabic customer experience podcast.
QuestionPro, founded in 2006, leverages a wide range of AI and machine learning technologies to analyze customer experience data from surveys, social media, email response and other sources. Combining CMILES CX’s real-time customer feedback with QuestionPro’s digital data collection and analysis tools will enable more insightful analysis for customers.
The acquisition was led by Vivek Bhaskaran, Founder and CEO of QuestionPro and Sindhu Sreenath, Managing Director of Mena Region.
