Under the patronage of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, the renowned soprano Fatma Said will present a major concert at Cairo’s historic Abdeen Palace on Thursday, September 26, 2024. Conducted by Maestro Nader Abbassi, the concert will feature a selection of Said’s most acclaimed works, showcasing her impressive operatic career.
This performance marks Said’s return to Egypt following her receipt of the 2024 European Culture Award at the Luxembourg Orchestra Theatre earlier this month. Tickets will be available globally from September 1, 2024, through Tickets Marche.
Dr. Ahmed Hanou, Minister of Culture, highlighted the event’s significance in celebrating both high art and Egypt’s rich cultural heritage. Amr El Kady, CEO of the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Board, commended Said for blending operatic artistry with Egyptian culture. Ahmed Obeid, Managing Director of RMC, emphasized the concert’s role in enhancing Egypt’s cultural tourism and supporting economic development.
