Baron Hotels & Resorts Hosts Miss Belgium Pageant Activities on the Stunning Shores of Sharm El Sheikh to Promote Tourism

Baron Hotels & Resorts hosted the 2025 Miss Belgium contestants at its Baron Resort Sharm El Sheikh, as part of its continuous efforts to support and stimulate international tourism in Egypt. The prestigious resort, located on the shores of Sharm El Sheikh, the City of Peace, went beyond simply hosting this global event, offering a full week of activities and events that brought a unique charm to the city.

The Miss Belgium pageant, recognized as the oldest of its kind in Europe, holds the distinction of being the first beauty contest among European countries. We are honored to host the annual activities of this pageant since 2016 at various Red Sea resorts in Egypt.

Each year, Baron Hotels and Resorts proudly welcomes the Miss Belgium pageant at one of its properties, either in Sharm El Sheikh or Hurghada.

Throughout the week, the resort featured numerous exclusive activities, including professional photoshoots that captured the breathtaking natural scenery—from the clear waters of the Red Sea to the lush gardens surrounding the resort.

The resort’s open-air theater also hosted special performances and evening events, attended by distinguished figures and visitors from across Sharm El Sheikh, further establishing the city as a primary destination embracing European beauty and culture.

As part of Baron Hotels & Resorts’ commitment to offering exceptional and unique service, Baron Resort Sharm El Sheikh organized a special program for the contestants.

This included guided tours of Sharm El Sheikh’s key landmarks, along with wellness and skincare sessions, providing the participants with a luxurious experience that aligns with the group’s high standards of hospitality.

This eighth consecutive year of hosting such an event underscores the fruitful collaboration between Baron Hotels and European beauty pageants, reaffirming Sharm El Sheikh’s status as a preferred destination for global tourism and highlighting Egypt’s capability to host major international events, blending luxury with authenticity.
