Whilst many people are spirited with the advent season of winter, others are nervous from having to put up with the feeling that comes with it. A lot of people struggle with winter blues/seasonal affective disorder – a long episode of winter depression that leaves the person affected with it, drained of all their energy. For some, this is when nature starts to inflict havoc on their mood and eventually on their work.

Find Where the Light is

Winter blues get more intense when it gets dark and gloomy. If your room is not solar-oriented, inform your boss and colleagues that you want to settle in a brighter one. If all methods fail and mother nature decides the sun is on a break; bring lights and lamps to your desk.
