Beit Theresa: Dahab’s Little Gem

The struggles that we face in our daily routine require us to look for a way out. Whether these struggles are work related or family issues, a good vacation is the optimal solution for many people.

If you are looking for serenity, a stunning view, and you are on a budget, then Dahab is definitely an option to consider. A lot of travelers want to stay at a place that offers a wide variety of services, and makes every second of their vacation count, and that’s what Beit Theresa aims to offer.

“Beit Theresa is a collection of renovated holiday rentals that are ethnically designed with natural materials, to join an old style attraction with modern convenience. The place combines both the luxurious amenities of a hotel and at the same time makes you feel like you’re in a lodge, back to nature, the origin of humans. I guess that’s why we are different, as we aim to provide our clients with high quality services with attention to detail,” say the owners of Beit Theresa, Mimi Gong and Mohamed Mamdouh.

The place was renewed in one year, and the married couple opened its doors to its clients in April 2019. Beit Theresa harmonizes the local Sinai landscape with stone walls, handpicked natural wood made, palm made furniture, tasteful arabesque henna lamps, local pottery and weave baskets utilities.

“We offer various spaces to fit the wants and needs of our clients, whether they are divers, kiters, and young couples. There is a Fisherman’s Lodge, which is a cozy beach house with a beautiful sea view, and a Tree House, which is a duplex house that has a panorama sea view. Also, there is a Stone Room, which has a pool view and it’s ideal for a weekend escape,” said the couple.

Both the Fisherman’s Lodge and the Tree House have kitchens, but the Stone Room doesn’t contain a kitchen. However, Beit Theresa has your taste buds covered, as the breakfast meals are precisely selected, prepared, and served with seasonal and fresh ingredients from the local market.

Kitchens are equipped with electric stoves, kettles, microwaves, coffee machines to cater all the needs of the travelers. While the bathrooms include beach towels, towels, hand soaps, shampoos and shower gel. There is a wide variety of facilities in the rooms, such as Wi-Fi, a hair drier, air conditioner, beach shoes, snorkeling mask, an iron and other facilities.

“Our clients can find most of the things they need for a comfortable holiday here, and our hospitality is making them feel home. All they need is their ID and money,” Mimi stated.

Beit Theresa also adds to the beauty of Dahab with its jaw dropping lush garden, that is farmed with attentiveness to details. Also, the garden has a homemade Jacuzzi, and a sitting area which allows you to have a dreamy desert experience while you can socialize and relax, the couple added.

“One of our guests told us, you can enjoy the great nature in a camp, but you may suffer from mosquitoes and dirty beds, or you can go enjoy luxury facilities in a hotel but feel everything is artificial. This is what makes Beit Theresa so special, we combine the best of both worlds,” mentioned the couple collectively.
