We’ve probably all watched and even gotten obsessive over at least one TV show. We’ve all wished to live the crazy life events our favorite fictional characters are living. But have you noticed the unhealthy impact TV shows sometimes leave on you and the dissatisfaction with how mundane real life seems after watching the unrealistically heroic lives that exist in most TV dramas nowadays?

All whilst keeping a crazy secret that could ruin the future of the firm. Bonus point: Meghan Markle aka the duchess of England is on the show, and that’s pretty much the cherry on top.

Following three girls working at a magazine, the bold type explores their work life inspired by life at Cosmopolitan. The show highlights what you have to give up and compromise to achieve goals, and how it always feels worth it when you do.

A hilarious sitcom taking place entirely in an office; it explores the awkwardness, embarrassment and funny situations everyone faces at work. The show presents all these weird situations realistically yet in the funniest way possible.

Empire

This show may not be taking place at an average company, but it still focuses on the race for power and success. Empire entertainment is a hip-hop music and Entertainment Company that displays the founder’s family members battling and doing whatever it takes to take control. The show has just the right amount of drama and plot twists while still being realistic in the portrayal of the characters’ emotions.

This is a drama series taking place in the 60’s and it’s about the daily lives of those working in an advertising agency, showing viewers what business was like then. Of course, it shows the personal lives of the characters as well, and it explores the changes society was going through during that era.
