KH Studio, the award-winning architecture and interior design studio known for its contemporary work across commercial, residential, and F&B projects, continues to shape Egypt’s dining scene with two new F&B destinations. Co-founded by architect Ahmed Khalifa and interior designer Shereen Helmy, the studio has designed Baky Hospitality’s Reif Kushiyaki Egypt at Seasons and Little Lexie’s at Swan Lake New Cairo.
Both concepts by Baky Hospitality bring two a distinct dining experiences to New Cairo, each defined by its own identity, atmosphere, and culinary point of view. For KH Studio, the projects brought forth an opportunity to translate two different restaurant concepts into immersive spaces that feel intentional, memorable, and deeply connected to the guest experience.
At Reif Kushiyaki, KH Studio created a refined setting that translates the acclaimed Japanese restaurant’s bold culinary identity into a space defined by quiet confidence. Japanese-inspired details are balanced with a modern sense of luxury, where warm wood, soft lighting, artistic wall treatments, and layered textures shape an atmosphere that feels intimate yet expressive. A palette of orange, green, and natural wood gives the restaurant a distinct visual identity, while the outdoor area introduces a more open rhythm to the experience. Framed by arched walls and anchored by a central bar, the space feels both composed and naturally inviting.

personal, and familiar, reflecting the studio’s ability to create interiors that are both visually distinct and emotionally engaging.Little Lexie’s marks the latest chapter in a space shaped by hospitality, gathering, and reinvention. The location first started as a lounge within Swan Lake Clubhouse and later transformed into Shinko Bar, the same footprint has lived through different social rhythms over time. Today, KH Studio has reimagined it once again, turning the space into an Italian dining experience rooted in warmth, character, and a strong sense of place.

The project reflects KH Studio’s ability to work with an existing space while giving it a completely new identity. Through thoughtful design, KH Studio preserved the idea of gathering at the heart of the space, while reshaping its atmosphere, purpose, and emotional rhythm for a new dining experience.
Inspired by the spirit of Cucina Italiana, KH Studio brought together layered details, soft textures, and a relaxed elegance to give Little Lexie’s its own distinct sense of warmth and character. At the entrance, one of the restaurant’s defining features sets the tone: a mosaic that carries a sense of memory, craft, and reinvention. Broken apart and brought back together by the people of Little Lexie’s, the piece becomes a quiet symbol of the restaurant’s personality, adding a handmade, story-led detail from the moment guests arrive.
