The word “Pseudo” originates from its older Greek version, “Pseudos,” which means false or not genuine. Thus, coupling this word with science, the term means that it is not genuine science.
The mere fact that Astrology tries to find a link between insanely distant balls of flaming gas and how you go about your Mondays tells you that the study will be bizarre.
Yes, you can find correlations between them. But Science actually states that you can find a correlation between any two random things in the world. For the correlation to actually mean something, the two correlated facts should be relevant to each other. At least one of them can be proven to cause the other.
For example, A statistic in the USA showed up in the last decade linking Ice cream sales with shark attacks. This led some people to make all kinds of ridiculous assumptions such as “Maybe ice cream makes you taste better to the sharks.” Another statistic in 2011 showed a correlation between Soda products consumption and violence. Astrology is no different; giving you slivers of facts among tons of wrong assumptions. And that is why it is one of the Pseudo-sciences around.
2- Would You Be Able to Change Your Zodiac Sign If You Control Your Behavior?
Say a person walks into your office, asks you about your zodiac signs, and then describes you as a patient personality; though nobody should get on your nerve because your anger is incomparable to that of usually angry people.
Dare you say that all patient people carry the same zodiac sign as yours? Well…No.
In fact, this description is fairly accurate to all patient people on the planet regardless of their birthdate. But people tend to focus on how they behave when someone describes them; excluding the commonality between them and others.
Therefore, if you control your behavior and slowly turn it into an angry one, will that automatically convert you to a Taurus instead of an Aquarius? Sadly, Astrology would disagree.
3- The Easy Way Is Not Necessarily The Right Way
We are curious beings by nature. And our brains are wired to find explanations for everything. However, your brain will not automatically distinguish between right and wrong approaches to explain something.

Zodiac signs are, in fact, tools of labeling unknowns to give relief for the ignorant brain. Thus, they are considered the easy way to go when judging people. However, it is nowhere near the truth.
4- Scientific Surveys Show no Evidence in Astrology’s Favor
According to the “Personality and Individual Differences” Journal, scientific studies and surveys have, thus far, found no evidence supporting the claims of Astrology. One of the studies was conducted on a population with a sample size of 20 million people.
On the contrary, what the studies have discovered is that there is a link between Narcissism and belief in astrology. The higher the belief, the more narcissist you could turn out to be and vice versa.

5- Astrological Presumptions About People May Limit Your Human Interaction With them
Human interaction is now one of the most desired skills needed and looked for in people applying for jobs. Because, if you think of it, modern jobs feature more meetings and conversations than the actual time you spend on your computer doing the work. That is why we see the ones with more people skills acquiring more job opportunities.
Judging someone at work based on his/her zodiac sign will trigger one of two things: either a presumptuous desire to avoid that person or an equally presumptuous desire to trust that person. Why follow such a misleading path when you can give time for your curiosity to find out the true metals of the person you are interacting with.
Allow Yourself to Learn
