A Life-Size Statue of Naguib Mahfouz to Be Placed in New Administrative Capital

You can’t be Egyptian unless you’ve read or watched one of Naguib Mahfouz’s work, you just can’t. The Egyptian writer is loved and adored by many across the region and the world, which is why it makes perfect sense why the following creation exists.

Sculptor Ahmed Abdel Fattah made a life-size statue of the late Nobel laureate which will be placed in the New Administrative Capital in honor of the iconic wordsmith. “It took me one month to sculpt the statue,” Abdel Fattah told Egypt Today.
