According to Egypt Today, Haider Ghaleb, the founder and CEO of Singularity University, said that the university seeks to improve the life of one billion people within the coming ten years and aims to inspire leaders of the future to benefit from advanced technologies in addressing challenges.
Singularity University’s partnership with the World Youth Forum has the stated goal of developing Africa and the Arab region through sharing viewpoints about important technological developments and innovative ideas.
Ghaleb has further announced that during the month of July, a competition will be launched where applicants will submit their ideas to develop the Arab and African region to the Singularity University’s website. The best ideas – according to the competition’s criteria – will be chosen for implementation.
